Scope of Works:
TMR engaged SCC to carry out repair works to
breakwater walls that were constructed in 2002.
Tidal currents within the dredge ponds had
created flow paths through the breakwater walls
resulting in the loss of some dredge spoil through
the walls necessitating the works.
The works included:
- Re-shaping the internal breakwater walls
- Adding infill material to the batter
surfaces - Lining the internal breakwater walls with
geotextile fabric - Anchoring the geotextile fabric
- Removal of some interpond drainage
connections
